FoFPC finds a new home and new managers. 3F Labs (a division of 3F, LLC)
has enthusiastic hopes of providing one of the most valuable assets to the FPC developer's arsinal.
The new web site is like the great Oceans of our planet ... accessable everywhere with depth and new
things everywhere you look. Your new web master (G.E. Ozz Nixon Jr) says thanks to Dirk aka Delax for
starting FoFPC and making sure the move to our servers went smooth! Ozz previously ran the Delphi Deli
and DelphiX before getting involved with Winshoes (later Indy) then starting Brain Patchwork DX, LLC
to market the commercial strength socket suite called DXSock. He comes to 3F with over 30 years
of Pascal development experience and is the lead on all of our cross-platform enterprise projects.
He selected FreePascal Compiler over all other tools and we now write single source for LWM (Linux,
Windows and Mac OS X (Both PowerPC and Intel)). For more information about Ozz or our company check
out the About button above.
FoFPC now operates on a web server cluster developed by 3F Labs; running 6 Ubuntu 8.04 servers,
with our Oracle database replication software ... a 16mb Internet
service and a 2mb fail-over Internet service. This means you will experience high-speed, reliable
access to FoFPC information! 3F has dedicated a Senior Software Architect to share 3F's experience
and knowledge of using FreePascal on Windows, Linux and Mac OS X. During the move from the old
site to this new one, you can still access old URLs and the Old.html home page.
